Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Kawardha MLA Shri Vijay Sharma today distributed cheques amounting to Rs 4 lakh 25 thousand to 17 Kabir Kutis at the MLA office in Kawardha, at the rate of Rs 25 thousand each to each Kabir Kuti for bhajan, satsang, kirtan and other religious events. This was approved for the purchase of musical instruments from the public relations fund with the aim of strengthening the religious and cultural activities related to Kabir Panth. This amount approved by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Sharma was given to the concerned Kabir Kutis today, so that necessary musical instruments can be made available for the bhajan, satsang, kirtan and other spiritual programmes organised there regularly.
It is noteworthy that the Kabir Kutis in the area had submitted applications for musical instruments. Keeping this community's need in mind, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma acted swiftly and approved an amount of 25,000 rupees each for 17 Kabir Kutis. Today, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma formally distributed the cheques to the Kabirpanthi community, presenting this gift to them.
