People's representatives should come forward to make the school admission festival a mass movement: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai

Calls for public participation for the success of the campaign “No child should be deprived of education”
Raipur, June 15, 2026/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has written to all public representatives of the state, calling for their active participation in the "Sala Pravesh Utsav" to be held from June 16 to June 27, 2026. The Chief Minister has said that education is the most powerful foundation for the progress of any society and nation and it is our collective responsibility to ensure that no child in the state is deprived of education.
In his letter, Chief Minister Shri Sai, while extending his best wishes for the new academic session to all students, parents, teachers, and those associated with education, said that a school admission festival is being organized across the state to coincide with the new academic session. The objective of this campaign is to ensure the admission and regular education of every boy and girl in school.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has urged ministers, MPs, MLAs, district and district panchayat presidents, mayors and public representatives of urban bodies to participate in the campaign by attending any school in their area as per their convenience and to identify and motivate the enrolment of children who are not yet enrolled in school or have dropped out. He said that the participation of public representatives will give this campaign the form of a mass movement.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated in the letter that the state government is committed to continuously improving the quality of school education. Excellent learning environments are being developed through PM Shri Vidyalayas, and new standards for quality education are being set by establishing 150 Vivekananda Vidyalayas by 2026. In accordance with the New Education Policy 2020, government schools are being developed into modern, technologically advanced, and student-centered institutions. Students are being provided with facilities such as midday meals, free textbooks, uniforms, and Saraswati bicycles for girls, so that no child is deprived of education due to financial reasons.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that with the active cooperation of public representatives and widespread public participation, the goal of providing the right to education to every child in the state can be achieved by making the School Admission Festival a success
