Raipur, June 16, 2026/ South Kaushal Peethadheeshwar Shri Swami Rajiv Lochan Das Ji Maharaj, Shri Mahant Surendra Das Ji Maharaj of Nirvani Akhara, Shri Uday Lal Ji from Shadani Darbar and Shri Devkar Saheb Ji of Kabir Ashram Sonpari paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at the Chief Minister's residence in the capital Raipur.
On this occasion, the saints and sages welcomed the decision to re-include traditional verses and mantras related to Indian culture, spiritual values and moral education in the schools of Chhattisgarh and expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai.
The saints said that in the past, school students were introduced to mantras like "Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwar" and Indian cultural traditions, which helped inculcate values, discipline, and moral values in children. Over time, these traditions gradually disappeared from the educational environment, but the state government's initiative to re-establish them is highly welcome.
The Sant Samaj stated that the inclusion of Shantipath, Saraswati Vandana, Bhojan Mantra, and other inspirational Vedic and cultural prayers in schools will play a vital role in the overall development of children. This will enable the new generation to connect with Indian knowledge tradition, culture, and moral values.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that education is not just a means of acquiring knowledge, but also a foundation for developing values, character, and life. Our government is committed to connecting children with modern education, as well as Indian culture, traditions, and spiritual values. Incorporating Shantipath, Saraswati Vandana, Bhojan Mantra, and other inspirational prayers in schools will foster discipline, positive thinking, self-confidence, and cultural consciousness among students. This initiative is an important step toward connecting the new generation to their roots and developing them into cultured, aware, and responsible citizens.
The saints and sages congratulated Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai for this initiative and blessed him and said that this decision is an important step towards strengthening the cultural identity and spiritual heritage of the state.
