Road, irrigation, health, education, drinking water and power infrastructure will get new strength.

Raipur/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai gave the gift of 76 development works worth Rs 603 crore 46 lakh 32 thousand to the people of the district in a huge inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan program organized at the Police Parade Ground in Gariaband district today. Chief Minister Shri Sai inaugurated 46 development works completed at a cost of Rs 86 crore 75 lakh 52 thousand and performed Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone of 30 development works to be started at a cost of Rs 516 crore 70 lakh 80 thousand. These development works will strengthen the road, irrigation, health, education, drinking water, electricity and other basic facilities in the district and development will gain a new momentum.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the state government's goal is to bring the benefits of development to the last person in society. He said that the state government is committed to the welfare of farmers, women, youth, tribals, and poor families, and that through good governance, the benefits of schemes are being delivered to eligible beneficiaries.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chief Minister's Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme is being implemented to provide relief to the state's electricity consumers. Under this scheme, relief is being provided on outstanding electricity bills worth approximately Rs 757 crore, which will provide financial support to millions of families. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, solar power plants are being installed on the rooftops of houses through the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Bijli Mukt Yojana, which is not only providing relief to the people from electricity expenses but is also promoting clean energy.

Referring to the interests of farmers, the Chief Minister said that new centers of agricultural cooperative credit societies are being opened in the state, which will make loans, fertilizers, seeds and other essential facilities available to farmers at the local level. He called upon farmers to adopt modern agricultural techniques and laid special emphasis on the use of nano urea. He said that the use of nano urea reduces production costs, maintains soil fertility and increases agricultural production.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that good governance and transparency are the state government's priorities. Chief Minister Helpline 1076 has been launched to ensure prompt and timely resolution of public problems. He urged citizens to take maximum advantage of this facility.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is establishing a new identity on the world stage. The Central and State governments are working together rapidly towards realizing the resolve of a developed India and a developed Chhattisgarh. He said that this journey of development will continue uninterrupted and the light of development will reach every region of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that the state government's top priority is meeting the basic needs of the people and expanding infrastructure. He said that the development works launched today in Gariaband district will significantly improve education, health, roads, irrigation, drinking water, electricity, and public amenities, and will give new impetus to the district's overall development.

The Chief Minister said that Gariaband district holds a special identity due to its natural beauty, rich tribal culture, and religious significance. Rajim, known as the Prayag of Chhattisgarh, the Rajiv Lochan Temple, and the Kuleshwar Mahadev Temple are major centers of faith for devotees. The state government is continuously expanding facilities for devotees and tourists at these religious and tourist sites.
