Raipur. The Chhattisgarh government's Urban Administration and Development Department has issued orders appointing nominated councilors to various municipal corporations, municipal councils, and town panchayats across the state. According to the order issued from the Ministry, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, these appointments will remain in effect until further orders.

According to the list released, 11 nominated councillors have been appointed in Raipur Municipal Corporation.

The department's order also released lists of nominated councilors for other municipal bodies in the state. This government decision is being considered an important step toward strengthening public participation and administrative coordination in local bodies.
