It is noteworthy that mountaineer Amita Shrivas, a resident of Janjgir-Champa district, has increased the pride of Chhattisgarh and the country by hoisting the tricolor on Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, 8,848.86 meters above sea level, on May 22.
