Transmission system gets a new boost, three projects energized in a single day

Raipur. Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company (CGSP) has achieved a significant milestone in strengthening the state's power transmission system by successfully energizing and commissioning 132 kV lines and associated 132 kV line bays across three important transmission projects. Honorable Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and Chairman of the Power Companies Shri Subodh Singh extended their congratulations and best wishes for this achievement.
Under the first project, the LILO work of the 132 kV Bhilai-Berla circuit at the under-construction 220/132/33 kV substation, Ahiwara, was completed, and the approximately 7.38 km (14.76 circuit km) line was energized in loop mode at 6:53 pm on July 15th. Under the second project,
the LILO work of the 132 kV Doma-Patan circuit-2 at the 132/33 kV substation, Amaleshwar, was completed. Under this project, the 132 kV Doma Bay was energized at 6:44 p.m., and the 132 kV Doma-Amleswar and Amleswar-Patan circuits, approximately 9.68 km long, were energized.
Under the third project, power supply at 132 kV voltage level was initiated from the 132/33 kV substation at Rasmada to M/s JD Ispat. For this purpose, the associated 132 kV line-bay and the approximately 1.60 km long 132 kV Rasmada-M/s JD Ispat transmission line were successfully energized at 7:11 p.m.
Managing Director Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla stated that the completion of these three projects will significantly enhance the capacity and reliability of the state's power transmission system. It will also significantly contribute to ensuring quality, safe, and uninterrupted power supply to industrial and other consumers.
Mr. Shukla stated that the timely and successful implementation of these works is an important step towards further strengthening the state's transmission system. He stated that the company is committed to ensuring reliable and quality power supply to consumers through the continued use of modern technologies and improved planning. The
successful implementation of the projects was facilitated by the significant contributions of officers and employees, including Executive Director (Line), Mr. Sanjay Patel, Additional Chief Engineer, Mr. P.P. Singh, Superintending Engineer, Mr. Sunil Bhuarya, Executive Engineer, Mr. M.R. Sherke, Executive Engineer, Mr. Hemant Warange, Assistant Engineer, Mr. Praveen Kumar Shukla, Assistant Engineer, Mr. S.P. Mandavi, and Junior Engineer, Mr. Shoaib Ahmed.
