Raipur . The online application process for the first phase of counseling for MBBS and BDS admissions under NEET-UG 2026 in government and private medical and dental colleges in Chhattisgarh is about to begin. The Office of the Commissioner of Medical Education, Swasthya Bhawan, Naya Raipur, has invited online applications.

The Medical Education Department has advised candidates to carefully study the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental, and Physiotherapy Undergraduate Admission Rules, 2025 before applying, specifically the provisions related to reservations, the counseling process, and bonds.

Applications will begin on August 9th.
Online applications for the first phase of counseling for NEET-UG 2026 will begin on August 9th, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Candidates will be able to apply until August 16th, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

The choice filling and locking process will begin on August 9th, 11:00 AM, and will continue until August 17th, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Category wise application fee The
online application fee has been fixed as follows:
UR and OBC: Rs 1,000
SC and ST: Rs 500
NRI: Rs 10,000

This application fee will be non-refundable. Information regarding registration amount i.e. security deposit is available in the table given on page no. 2 of the counselling notice.

It is important to read the rules before applying
The department has appealed to the candidates to read the admission rules issued under RULE-503/30/2025/MED thoroughly before applying. This includes important provisions including reservation, seat allotment, counselling process and bond.
