Jashpurnagar - Collector Rohit Vyas today inspected various ongoing construction and beautification works in the Jashpur Nagar Palika area and took stock of their progress. He inspected the under-construction Nalanda complex, beautification work near Judev Chowk, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk, Balasaheb Deshpande Chowk and the community hall at Purani Toli. The collector directed to complete all the works within the time limit in a quality manner and to speed up the construction works. During this, Nagar Palika President Arvind Bhagat, Assistant Engineer Nagar Palika Kailash Kharole, Deputy Engineer Shubhendu Srivastava and other officials were present.

The 500-seater Nalanda campus will provide a better center for modern studies. 

During the inspection, Collector Vyas observed the 500-seater Nalanda campus, being constructed on approximately 2.87 hectares at a cost of 11 crore rupees. He reviewed the progress of the construction work and directed the students to expedite the work. He stated that the Nalanda campus will provide a modern library, digital learning facilities, and a peaceful and organized study environment for the students. This campus will play an important role in shaping the future of the district's youth by providing them with better resources for preparing for competitive exams and higher education.

Instructions to expedite the beautification work near Judev Chowk: 

The Collector also inspected the beautification work being carried out at Judev Chowk near Ranjita Stadium, costing approximately 64 lakh rupees. The proposed projects include an attractive fountain, replicas of the 12 postures of Surya Namaskar, and other beautification projects. Expressing displeasure over the slow progress, the Collector directed the concerned officials to expedite the work and complete it within the stipulated timeframe in a quality manner.

Instructions to complete the remaining work of the community building soon: 

Collector Vyas inspected the community hall under construction in Purani Toli, costing approximately 74 lakh rupees. The building is in its final stages of construction, and finishing touches are currently underway. He directed that the remaining work be completed expeditiously. The completion of the community hall will provide citizens with better facilities for government events, as well as weddings and other social gatherings, all under one roof.

Dr. Ambedkar and Balasaheb Deshpande Chowk will become centers of attraction and inspiration: 

Collector Vyas also inspected the beautification work being carried out at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk and Balasaheb Deshpande Chowk, costing approximately 15 lakh rupees. He directed the concerned officials to expedite the work and complete it within the stipulated timeframe with quality. He said that the beautification of these squares will not only enhance the beauty of the city but will also become a center of attraction and inspiration for the people.
