ACCIDENT NEWS: Tragic accident on Raipur-Jagdalpur highway, 17-year-old KTM rider dies

ACCIDENT NEWS: Dhamtari. Speeding has wreaked havoc in Chhattisgarh's Dhamtari district. A young man riding a bike died after being hit by an unknown vehicle near Shyam Tarai Naka Chowk. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Jai Reddy. The incident occurred in the Arjuni police station area.

The family lives in Hyderabad

According to reports, Jai Reddy's mother lives in Hyderabad, while he studied in Raipur. It's being reported that he has a relative's house in Dhamtari. He was there for a few days. On Sunday morning, around 4 to 5 a.m., he left with his Duke and was involved in an accident near Shyam Tarai Naka Chowk on the Raipur-Jagdalpur Highway.

 

The cause of the accident is unknown

Police arrived at the scene after receiving information about the accident. A Panchnama (inquest) was conducted and the body was sent for post-mortem. An investigation is currently underway to determine whether the accident was caused by an unknown vehicle or whether the deceased's bike collided with an animal.

Police are investigating

CSP Abhishek Chaturvedi stated that the accident occurred around 4:00 to 5:00 a.m. An ambulance and a Dial 112 team arrived on the Raipur-Jagdalpur highway bypass after receiving information about the accident. The young man and his damaged bike were found at the scene. Upon arrival at the hospital, doctors declared him dead. His family has been informed, who live in Hyderabad. Police are examining CCTV footage from the highway. The investigation is ongoing.
