CG NEWS: Independence Day celebrations turn to mourning! A businessman drowned while bathing in the Mudmar Dam.

CG NEWS: Mahasamund. A young man who had gone to visit the Mudmar Dam, located five kilometers from Mahasamund city, drowned while bathing. The young man has been identified as 35-year-old Pranay Gurvekar, a resident of Ward No. 26, Club Para.
According to reports, Pranay Gurvekar had gone to visit the Mudmar Dam with five friends on Independence Day. He went into the dam to take a bath, but drowned in the deep water.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving information from villagers and, with the help of divers, retrieved the young man's body. The deceased youth is said to be a mixture trader. However, the Kotwali police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
