Raipur. Under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a grand program 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' will be organized in Korea district on September 17. On this occasion, more than 1.21 lakh diyas will be lit across the district. Through lighting the lamps, the people of the district will express their gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 25 years of public life, service, dedication and public welfare. On September 17, at 7 pm, lamps will be lit simultaneously at various gram panchayats, urban bodies, Amrit Sarovar, squares and major places of the district. The district level program will be organized at 'Open Theatre, Jhumka, Gram Panchayat Odgi, Baikunthpur, where a special lighting ceremony will be organized with 10 thousand diyas.

Along with Baikunthpur and Sonhat Janpad Panchayat areas, lamps will also be lit on a large scale in Baikunthpur, Shivpur-Charcha and Patna urban areas. Along with 500 lamps each in Gram Panchayats, lamps will also be lit at Amrit Sarovar and other important places. Lamps will also be lit in all the government and non-government institutions and corporation, board and board offices of the district. In this way, the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' program will express the spirit of service, dedication and public participation across the district. Lamps glowing simultaneously from village to city will give the message of participation and collective resolve of the people of the district.

Appeal to the people of the district to participate in 'Aashirwad Ka Diya'
Collector Roktima Yadav and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Yogendra Shrivas have appealed to the citizens of all sections including the public representatives from the district to the village and ward level to participate in the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' program to be organized on 17th September. They have asked the people of the district to light a lamp in their homes as a mark of gratitude. He said that only with public participation can the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan be given a wider form. The 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' program will become a symbol of the spirit of service, dedication and public participation in Korea.
