Raipur, September 2026/ To mark the completion of 25 years of service and dedication in public life of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' is being organised in Chhattisgarh from 17th September to 17th October 2026. Under the campaign, collective lamp lighting will be done across the state on 17th September at 7 pm through the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' initiative. Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal has appealed to the people of Chhattisgarh to light the 'Aashirwad Ka Diya' in their homes at 7 pm on 17th September and be a part of this collective pledge of service, dedication, gratitude and positivity.

Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal said that the lamp is not only a symbol of light in Indian culture, but also of hope, harmony, positivity, and the spirit of service. Through the 'Light of Blessings,' we can pledge to further strengthen the spirit of service in our families and society. He said that on the evening of September 17th, when lamps are lit simultaneously in every home across the state, this spectacle will convey the power of public participation and the spirit of collective resolve.

He urged the people of the state not to limit the "Blessing Lamp" initiative to simply lighting a lamp, but to connect it with helping someone in need, respecting the elderly, being sensitive to children, protecting the environment, or making a positive contribution to society.
