Bilaspur will be illuminated with lamps of blessings, 10 lakh lamps will be lit simultaneously in the district at 7 pm.
1.25 lakh lamps of blessings will be lit at the Police Parade Ground in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao.
Raipur, September 2026. The "Aashirwad Ka Diya" program will be organized on September 17th as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, organized to mark the completion of 25 years of public service by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Approximately 1 million lamps will be lit in Bilaspur district on this occasion. The district-level "Aashirwad Ka Diya" program will be held at the Police Parade Ground, beginning at 7 p.m., with Deputy Chief Minister and District In-charge Minister Arun Sao as the chief guest. One lakh 25 thousand lamps will be lit at the district-level program.
As part of the campaign, major religious and historical sites in the district will also be illuminated with lamps. 11,000 lamps will be lit in Ratanpur, 1,100 in Belpan, 1,100 in Tala, and 11,000 in Malhar. In addition, lamps will be lit in 100% of households in the selected 44 gram panchayats across the four development blocks of the district.
Lamps will be lit in 100% of the houses in Baima, Korbi, Limtari, Bhatgaon, Parsada Bha., Sarvandevri, Uchhabti, Dhamni, Akaltari and Devkirari under the District Panchayat Bilha, and in Navagaon Salka, Amali, Nagoi, Khongsara, Belgahna, Banabel, Pateta, Khairjhitti, Khargahni, Mohada, Bardwar and Amne under the District Panchayat Kota. Similarly, lamps will be lit in every house in Darrighat, Sipat, Parsadaved, Beltukri, Bitkula, Khamhariya, Gautaura, Padhi, Jondhra and Gopalpur of the development block Masturi and in Lokhandi, Bodsara, Binauri, Khapri, Ghutku, Amsena, Kharkena, Kodapuri, Vijaypur, Ganiyari, Chhatauna and Khajurinavagaon of the District Panchayat Takhatpur. Apart from this, arrangements have been made to light more than 100 lamps of blessings in every village.
Under the campaign, lamps will be lit at 7 pm in all the government buildings, schools, Panchayat buildings, Anganwadi centres and Gram Panchayats of the district. Lamps will also be lit in the houses of beneficiaries of various government schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural), National Rural Livelihood Mission. Didis of women self-help groups will cooperate in the lamp lighting programme at various places. Under the Jal Jan Seva Sankalp, lamps will also be lit at the dams, barrages, anicuts and canal heads of the district.
