Seva Sankalp Abhiyan being celebrated on completion of 25 years of service of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi
Raipur, September 2026. To mark the 25th anniversary of the country's illustrious Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, completing 25 years of public service, the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is being organized from September 17th to October 17th. It will begin with the "Aashirwad Ka Diya" (Lighting of Blessings) on September 17th. It will be held at the Bhadrakali Mata Temple complex in the district headquarters, Bemetara. Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel will be the chief guest.
The Bemetara district administration has made preparations for a grand lighting ceremony of 5000 diyas in the temple premises. Along with this, lamps will be lit in all 336 gram panchayats, all government buildings, all Amrit Sarovars, schools, Anganwadi centres, urban bodies and in every house of the 27 identified gram panchayats of the district. A total of more than 6 lakh diyas will be lit in the district. The district administration has appealed to all public representatives, officers, employees and residents of the district to participate in this holy event and light the 'lamp of blessings' in their homes as well.
