Raipur, September 2026/ To mark the completion of 25 years of service and dedication in the public life of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan" is being organized in the state. This campaign, aimed at spreading the spirit of service, dedication, and public participation, is organizing two important healthcare initiatives in the Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district. As part of the campaign, a blood donation camp will be held in Pendra on September 17th and a special mega health camp will be held at the District Hospital on September 20th. Through these events, residents of the district will be connected to the life-saving work of blood donation, as well as free health consultations and checkups from specialist doctors.
Blood donation camp in Pendra on 17th September
As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a blood donation camp will be organized on September 17th at 3 pm at the Multipurpose Higher Secondary School, Pendra. Through the camp, citizens will be encouraged to voluntarily donate blood. Blood donation plays a vital role in saving the lives of patients in need. The district administration and health department have appealed to citizens to participate in this humanitarian initiative as much as possible.
For the successful and well-organized organization of the camp, the Chief Medical and Health Officer has given instructions to ensure the availability of necessary medical facilities, supplies, equipment, and staff. The concerned officers and employees have also been instructed to ensure the effective discharge of their assigned responsibilities.
Special Mega Health Camp at District Hospital on September 20
In the next phase of the campaign, a special mega health camp will be held at the District Hospital on September 20th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. At the camp, various specialist doctors, including those from Apollo Hospital Bilaspur, will provide free health consultations and checkups to residents.
Organized under the guidance of Collector Shri Vijay Dayaram K. and the direction of Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Rameshwar Sharma, this camp's primary objective is to ensure access to specialized medical services for as many citizens as possible, including those in remote and rural areas of the district. The camp will offer one-stop consultations with specialist doctors regarding various health issues and provide necessary health checkups.
Cardiology, kidney, medicine, and ophthalmology specialists will provide consultations.
At the mega health camp, specialist doctors from Apollo Hospital Bilaspur will provide tests and medical consultations for various health problems, including heart disease, kidney disease, medicine, and eye disease. Patients will be provided with appropriate guidance regarding further tests, treatment, and necessary medical services based on their health status.
The availability of specialist doctors will be of particular benefit to patients who require expert consultation for a specific health problem. The camp will help identify health problems at an early stage and provide timely, appropriate treatment
