CG BANGLADESH CITIZEN ARREST: Came to India 19 years ago, now arrested!
Bemetara. Police in Bemetara have arrested a Bangladeshi national allegedly living illegally in India. The accused has been identified as Md. Moksadul Alam Kalu (35).
According to the police, the accused was found to be carrying no valid documents proving his residence in India. He was apprehended after technical investigations by the Cyber Cell and Special Task Force as part of a special operation.
During interrogation, police learned that he had entered India illegally in 2007. The investigation also revealed that he had allegedly obtained a fake Aadhaar card in Sambalpur, Odisha.
Now the police is trying to find out how the Aadhar card was made, who all were involved in it and on the basis of which identity the accused resided in India for such a long time.
The police are also investigating other aspects related to the accused's entry into India, documents and his activities during his stay here.
