Jaipur. A major and sensational theft took place late last night at the prestigious luxury watch showroom 'Rado' located near the glass factory on Tonk Road, one of the busiest areas of the city. In the darkness of the night, cunning thieves targeted the showroom in just a few minutes and made away with the stock of expensive watches. On Thursday morning, when the people nearby saw the shutter of the showroom broken, there was panic and the police was immediately informed about the incident.
4 am in the morning and a horrific incident According to the initial information given by the police and Special Commissioner Om Prakash, this daring incident was carried out at around 4 am on Thursday. After examining the CCTV footage, it was revealed that a total of 5 to 7 criminals were involved in this incident. It is clearly visible in the footage how two vicious criminals entered the showroom by breaking the strong shutter with a heavy iron rod. The surprising thing was that while they were creating havoc inside, some of their associates were standing outside on the road and continuously keeping watch and surveillance.
Everything was destroyed in a few minutes.
As soon as they entered the showroom, the miscreants created havoc. They quickly started filling sacks and bags with expensive and costly watches displayed in the show-case, display rack, table and store room. The glittering watches displayed were emptied in minutes. The crime was committed so swiftly and professionally that no one even got a chance to recover. After the incident, when the showroom was inspected on Thursday morning, all the goods inside were found scattered and branded watches worth crores were missing.
Upon receiving the information, the police department was shaken. The FSL team was immediately called to the scene, which collected fingerprints and other important technical evidence from inside the showroom. Police also seized an iron rod left behind by the criminals at the scene. Special Commissioner Om Prakash stated that CCTV footage from Tonk Road and surrounding areas is being scanned to trace the criminals' entry and escape routes. Currently, the showroom owner is tallying the total number of stolen watches and their exact prices. Police claim that this high-profile gang of thieves will soon be put behind bars
