A bloody incident occurred during a lawyers' strike at a Panipat court. An advocate was stabbed in the neck with a pistol; one attacker was arrested.
Panipat. During a peaceful protest by lawyers at the Panipat district court complex in Haryana, a sensation spread when two fearless youths launched a deadly attack on a lawyer. The attackers first pointed an illegal pistol at the lawyer and then took out a knife and stabbed him repeatedly in the neck. This bloody attack, which took place in broad daylight and in a highly secure place like the court complex, created widespread panic among lawyers and the general public. The lawyer, bleeding profusely, was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital, where his condition remains critical.
Father and brother saved his life, lawyers ran and caught one of the accused.
At the time of the incident, the father and brother of the injured advocate were also present at the spot. They risked their lives and fought the attackers and somehow freed the advocate from their clutches. After committing the crime, both the attackers took advantage of the crowd and started running away. However, other advocates protesting there showed courage and chased them and caught one of the attackers on the spot, while his other companion managed to escape by escaping from the crowd. On receiving the information, the local police immediately reached the spot and took the arrested accused into their custody.
Protests were underway against the misbehavior with a female lawyer in the Municipal Corporation.

All the lawyers had gathered in the court premises and were protesting strongly against the administration. There is immense anger among the lawyers regarding this huge lapse in security in the court premises and the police is conducting raids by imposing blockades in search of the absconding accused.
