Raipur, October 2026 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that India is the world's youngest country and this youth power will become the biggest force in building a developed and strong India. He urged the youth to dream big, set goals according to their interests, and achieve them with complete hard work and dedication. The Chief Minister said that for success in life, wise use of time, continuous hard work, and determination towards one's goals are most important.
Chief Minister Shri Sai was addressing the 'Gen Next Samvad 'Young Minds, Meaningful Conversations' programme organised by News 24 and Lalluram.com at Saddu in the capital Raipur this evening. During this, the Chief Minister met the students of Gen-G and Gen-Alpha. The students asked the Chief Minister questions on various topics including his life's struggles, politics, education, economic development of the state, competitive examinations and water conservation. Chief Minister Shri Sai answered the questions of the youth in a simple and cordial manner and also shared his life experiences.
India's prestige has increased in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has completed 25 years of serving the people as Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of the country. To mark this occasion, the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan is being celebrated across the country.
Referring to the Swachh Bharat Mission, Chief Minister Sai said that when Prime Minister Modi called for cleanliness from the ramparts of the Red Fort, questions were raised about it. Today, cleanliness has become an important part of public life. The construction of toilets in every home has protected the dignity and health of mothers and sisters, and villages have been freed from open defecation. The Swachh Bharat Mission has brought about a major change in both thinking and behavior towards cleanliness.
Chief Minister Sai said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is steadily progressing as a strong and prosperous nation. The surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor have introduced the world to India's strength and determination. He added that India has also made remarkable progress economically. Prime Minister Modi has pledged to build a developed India by 2047, and today India's respect and prestige has increased worldwide.
Referring to his recent visit to Singapore, Chief Minister Sai said that during his four-day visit, he held discussions with representatives of several leading companies. The industry representatives also noted India's growing global reputation under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Recalling his childhood, the Chief Minister explained how the education landscape has changed.
During his interaction with the youth, Chief Minister Shri Sai also shared memories of his student days. He said, "Speaking with all of you is reminding me of my childhood. When I was a student at the primary school in Bagiya village, our school didn't even have the facilities to take the fifth-grade board exams. To take the exam, I had to travel several kilometers to another village and stay there for five days. At that time, the school buildings were made of mud, and during the rainy season, water would leak from the roofs."
The Chief Minister said that today the situation has completely changed. The field of education in Chhattisgarh has expanded rapidly, and various institutions of higher education are available in the state. He said that previously there was only one medical college in the state, whereas today there are 15 medical colleges. He urged students to make full use of the educational opportunities and facilities available to them today and build a bright future for themselves.
