Cleanliness drive with public participation and service pledge in Rampur Ashram

Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap did Shramdaan with the people, cleaned the Markandi river ghat and natural water pond.

Raipur: A cleanliness drive was launched at Rampur Ashram in Chapka Gram Panchayat, Bastar district, as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan (Service Resolution Campaign) with public participation. Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap participated in the voluntary work by sweeping alongside local residents and public representatives. During the drive, the message of cleanliness and conservation of water sources was conveyed by cleaning the historic temple complex, the Markandi River ghat, and the natural water pond.

      Local villagers and public representatives enthusiastically participated in the cleanliness drive. Together, they cleaned up garbage, plastic, and other waste around the river ghat, natural water pool, and temple complex. Forest Minister Mr. Kashyap emphasized the need to embrace cleanliness as a collective responsibility and increase public participation in keeping religious and public places, as well as natural water sources, clean.

      On this occasion, villagers also took a collective pledge to keep water sources clean and pure. Mrs. Vedvati Kashyap, President of the Bastar District Panchayat, Mr. Dinesh Kashyap, President of the District Central Cooperative Bank, along with other Panchayat representatives, the Swachh Bharat Mission team, and a large number of local villagers participated in the campaign.
