Jashpur: Under the "Operation Sindoor" campaign, a program of Tiranga Yatra filled with patriotism was organized from Charaidand Shiva temple to Mango garden of Duldula development block.Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated the grand Tiranga Yatra.

During the Yatra, the entire atmosphere resonated with patriotism with slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai', 'Vande Mataram' and 'Jai Hind'. Common people participated in the Yatra enthusiastically with the tricolour in their hands.

While addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that “This yatra is not only a tribute to the tricolor but it is also a true tribute to our martyrs. This campaign is a symbol of strengthening the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.Under 'Operation Sindoor', Tiranga Yatra was organised simultaneously across the district with the objective of instilling the spirit of patriotism among the youth and strengthening national unity through public participation.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, while addressing the large number of youth, women and citizens present, said that such a huge participation in a short time is proof of the fact that the people of the country are standing united for the nation. He expressed gratitude to all the participants.Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister of the country, the Indian Army has achieved unprecedented success under 'Operation Sindoor'. This campaign is dedicated to those martyred soldiers who increased the honor of the nation with their martyrdom.

He mentioned the way the Army responded after the Uri attack, and paid tribute to the brutal killing of the son of Chhattisgarh and other soldiers in the recent cowardly incident by Pakistan-backed terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.

The Chief Minister said that under the able leadership of the Prime Minister and the Defense Minister, action was taken against the terrorist hideouts across the border and they were destroyed. The participation of all sections of the society in this Tiranga Yatra gives the message that India is one, and all citizens are united in national interest.Every citizen of the country is praising Operation Sidhoor launched by the Indian Army against terrorism. The Indian Army is protecting the country's borders with utmost bravery, displaying indomitable courage to protect the country.

On this occasion, Tiranga Yatra was organised in all the urban bodies and gram panchayats of the district to support the efforts of the Indian Army and to show solidarity.On this occasion, public representatives, representatives of Panchayat and urban bodies, officers, common citizens, children and youth participated in large numbers and expressed their unity and respect towards the country.

Dokra. Preparations for Prana Pratishtha in Sri Jagannath Temple are going on with full enthusiasm and devotion. Spiritual energy is flowing in the temple premises, where a huge crowd of devotees is gathering.This morning, Lord Jagannath's Neelchakra along with Mata Vimala and Mata Lakshmi reached the priest's place with a grand procession from Puri. All the idols were welcomed amidst Hari Kirtan and Vedic chanting.

The formal start of the Prana Pratishtha program will begin from May 21

This grand ritual will begin with a grand Kalash Yatra on May 21, in which thousands of devotees will participate. In the Kalash Yatra, women devotees in traditional attire will make the religious atmosphere devotional by carrying Kalash on their heads.The yatra will start from Maini Nadi Bagiya and will reach the temple via the main roads of the city.

Meena Bazaar will become a centre of attraction for children and youth

The Meena Bazaar to be held near the Shiv Mandir premises will also be a special feature of this programme. Various types of shops, swings, games and toys and food stalls will be set up here, which will become a major centre of entertainment for children and youth.

Huge Bhandara will be organized every day and after Purnahuti, there will be a city tour. The Prana Pratishtha ceremony will conclude on 27th May with a huge Bhandara and Shobha Yatra. Thousands of devotees will receive prasad on this day and the city tour will be done.

Raipur  :  Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has reached the Samadhan Camp of Sector Sitagaon in Manpur Block of Mohla Manpur Ambagarh Chowki district. Here the Chief Minister will directly communicate with the people of 08 Gram Panchayats of the cluster.

It is known that a Samadhan camp has been organized in Sitapur village of Manpur development block. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma has also reached the said program along with Chief Minister Sai. Material will be distributed to the eligible beneficiaries in the Samadhan camp in Sitapur.

Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today visited the remote and tribal dominated village of Muller in Bastar division. This village is one of the last villages located on the border of Dantewada district, where inclusive development work is now being carried out at a fast pace under the Niyada Nellnar Scheme.Villagers accorded a warm welcome to Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him with a traditional garland made of Mahua and mango leaves and a Gaur crown. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh and Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam were also greeted with traditional bouquets made of Chhind leaves.

Chief Minister Shri Sai held a chaupal under the tamarind tree and interacted directly with the villagers. He listened to the ground level problems of the villagers and discussed the development priorities. He inspected the ration shop.Where he interacted with the beneficiaries and inquired about the regularity, quality and usage of ration distribution. During this, he also got the food grains weighed on the spot and saw the ration card of a beneficiary.Chief Minister Shri Sai had a cordial conversation with the children in Anganwadi and collected information about their knowledge of alphabets, colour recognition etc. and distributed chocolates to the children.

The CM made several important announcements on the spot, including approval of Rs 4 lakh for the construction of Andal Kosam Mata temple, establishment of a sub-health center in the village, construction of a connecting road to Nahadi, approval of Rs 5 lakh for the construction of a culvert and CC road to connect all the areas of the village.He further said that soon camps will be organized to make forest rights recognition certificate, Aadhar card and Ayushman card.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai met Ramshila Nag, a student from Dantewada who secured 9th position in the 10th board examination of the state.He was honoured with a bouquet of flowers and sweets and wished for his bright future.

Along with Chief Minister Shri Sai, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh and Director General of Police Shri Arun Dev Gautam also left for Sushasan Tihar.

Raipur : Many important decisions were taken in the Cabinet meeting held here today in Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai.

1 The Council of Ministers took an important decision to conduct the 'Chief Minister Education Quality Campaign' in the government schools of the state to improve the educational quality of children under the National Education Policy.Under this campaign, special focus will be given on many important points to improve the quality of education, increase parent-teacher participation and improve educational achievements.

The School Education Department will issue detailed guidelines regarding the campaign. Under the campaign, social audit of schools will be done and grading will be done on the basis of quality.Regular monitoring of weak schools will be ensured through officials of various departments and public representatives. By selecting model schools, teachers of weak schools will be taken on educational tours there.Active participation of parents will be ensured through parent-teacher meetings (PTM). Classroom teaching processes will be improved to increase the academic achievements of students.

2. The Council of Ministers has decided to give a big relief to the poor artists and litterateurs of the state in the field of literature and art.In compliance with the announcement made in the Assembly Budget Session, the monthly financial assistance (pension) given to artists has now been increased from Rs. 2000 to Rs. 5000 per month.For this, the proposal to amend the Financial Assistance Scheme Rule-1986 operated under the Culture Department was approved by the Council of Ministers. This will provide financial support to those artists and litterateurs who are struggling for livelihood.

This scheme was started in the year 1986, then the minimum assistance amount was fixed at Rs 150 and the maximum at Rs 600. Later in the year 2007 it was increased to Rs 1500 and then in 2012 it was increased to Rs 2000. But there was no increase in the last 12 years. At present, a total of 162 artists in the state are being given this pension.At present, every artist is getting an annual pension of Rs 24,000, which will increase to Rs 60,000 after the amendment. This will increase the total annual expenditure from Rs 38.88 lakh to Rs 97.20 lakh, which will put an additional annual burden of Rs 58.32 lakh on the state.

3. The Council of Ministers approved the proposal to amend the Chhattisgarh Industrial Land and Building Management Rules, 2015 with the aim of giving further impetus to industrial development in the state and making the land allotment process transparent.This amendment will bring greater clarity and transparency in the process of allotment of industrial areas, land banks and other land plots and will enable industrial investors to better understand and benefit from the land allotment process.

4 The Council of Ministers has approved several important amendments in the State's Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 to promote industries and encourage investment in the state of Chhattisgarh. This will make the state's industrial policy more employment-oriented, comprehensive and beneficial for enterprises.The proposed amendment will create new employment opportunities in the state and will also give a boost to modern farming and toy industry.

5 Youth will get employment - Under the new policy, the companies in which people of Chhattisgarh will get jobs will get grants from the government.

6 Promotion of high-tech farming - Now modern farming like hydroponic and aeroponic will be promoted. Farmers will get the benefit of new technology like automation and Internet of Things.

7 Training and sports facilities for youth – Sports academies and private training centres will be encouraged in the state, which will provide better training and career opportunities to the youth.

8 Establishment of quality universities will be encouraged. 

9 Automobile repairing and service centers will be approved in all development block groups.

10 Promotion of tourism and hotel business - The minimum limit of investment for building hotels and resorts in Bastar and Surguja divisions has been reduced, which will increase tourism in these areas and provide employment to local people.

11 Double incentive to textile industry - Now, up to 200 percent incentive will be given on investment in textile sector. This will also benefit those engaged in jobs like sewing, embroidery and knitting.

12 Chhattisgarh will become a logistics hub - Now a new logistics policy will be introduced to make freight and trade easier in every part of the state. This will benefit traders and access to markets will be easier.

13 Special benefits to persons with disabilities - The definition of persons with disabilities has been revamped so that they can avail the benefits of more schemes.

14 Global Capability Centre, special package to defence and aerospace sector, increase in infrastructure grants for private industrial parks and encouragement to build plug and play factories will be provided.

15 Ease of living will be promoted in the state.

Jashpurnagar । Collector Rohit Vyas today heard the problems of common citizens through Jandarshan in the Collectorate office. The citizens of the district put their problems and demands directly before the collector.

The collector has directed the concerned officers to resolve the applications received in Jandarshan on priority basis. Applications related to various demands including revenue related matters, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, forest rights lease, livelihood, ration card were received in Jandarshan.

Raigarh. Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh has emerged as a new example. It has become the first district in the state where payment of taxes and fees in gram panchayats is now being made through digital medium i.e. UPI.Villagers are now easily making payments like property tax, market fee, water tax and sanitation tax through their mobile phones.

Raigadh district has given a new direction to rural governance by bringing digital payment system to villages.UPI based tax collection system has been implemented in all 549 gram panchayats of the district. UPI QR codes have been installed in panchayat buildings and public places, so that villagers are able to pay their taxes sitting at home.This system not only promoted transparency but also significantly increased the income of the panchayats. The then Collector Shri Goyal gave a detailed presentation of this innovative model before the screening committee of the Prime Minister's Award on 12 March 2025.He said that the UPI system has increased tax collection by 117 percent compared to the last financial year. Tax collection has more than doubled in many panchayats. Earlier, villagers used to face difficulty in making manual payments, but now they are able to make payments easily through mobile.5 out of 7 blocks of Raigarh district are tribal dominated and this digital payment system has been implemented here too. The special thing is that 330 PVTG Birhor families have also started paying tax through UPI, which is being considered a major achievement towards digital inclusion.After the implementation of the UPI system, people's participation in Gram Sabhas has also increased. Analysis done in three panchayats has shown that people's attendance in Gram Sabhas has increased by 57 percent. This clearly shows that villagers are now taking more interest in the Panchayat system.The transactions done by women self-help groups, BC Sakhis are also increasing continuously. While the transactions were worth Rs 3969.30 lakh in the year 2022-23, it increased to Rs 4236.50 lakh in 2023-24 and reached Rs 4650.80 lakh by the end of February in the year 2025.This initiative has also greatly facilitated account maintenance, audit process and cash ledger reconciliation in gram panchayats. With a digital record of every transaction, the financial system has become more transparent and smooth.This initiative of Raigarh district has now become a role model for the entire Chhattisgarh. By successfully implementing the idea of Digital India, Raigarh district has today become a symbol of digital panchayat governance.District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jitendra Yadav said that under the guidance of Finance Minister Mr. OP Chaudhary and the then Collector Mr. Kartikeya Goyal, digital payment collection was started on a large scale in the panchayats of the district. People were made aware.Tax is being collected through QR code by linking the accounts of panchayats to UPI. Currently, under the leadership of Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi, work is being done for digital tax collection in 100% panchayats of the district.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai did a surprise inspection of the district hospital in Mahasamund district today in the third phase of Sushasan Tihar.During the inspection, Chief Minister Shri Sai reviewed the arrangements of the hospital and interacted with the patients and enquired about their well-being. Raipur. The Urban Administration and Development Department has approved Rs. 1 crore 60 lakh for various works in Pandit R.D. Tiwari Higher Secondary School in Raipur.After the approval of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Arun Saw, this amount has been sanctioned by the Directorate from the infrastructure item.

Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today attended the Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Janmotsav program in Danganiya of the capital Raipur. On this occasion, he prayed in the Bhagwan Parshuram temple as per rituals and wished for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Brahmin community has always worked to impart knowledge and culture to the society. He wished everyone on the occasion of Lord Parshuram Janmotsav and said that Lord Parshuram is the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.He said that Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Ram is our nephew. The construction of Ramlala temple is a matter of pride and faith for the people of Chhattisgarh. So far, 22,000 devotees have visited Ramlala in Ayodhya under the 'Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana'.
