Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at Bhanupratappur said that first of all, primitive culture emerged in the world. The state government is consistently trying to preserve the tribal culture and tradition. From 2019 till now 518 Devgudis have been constructed in the district at a cost of Rs 17 crore 82 lakh. Similarly, 173 Ghotuls were constructed at a cost of Rs 19 crore 91 lakh. Mr. Baghel said that ‘sewa’ means service to human society, culture and nature. The work of preserving tribal culture is being done by the state government. The work of scripting all the tribal dialects of the state, preserving and saving folk dances, folk songs and traditional games are also being done. He further said that the country's largest millet plant has been started recently at Nathia Navagaon in Kanker district.

More than five thousand fish farmers are associated with fish farming in Pakhanjur area. The scale of fish farming being done here, can clearly be gauged from the fact that the average annual turnover of fish seed production, transportation and production of fish etc. is more than Rs 500 crore. The main stage of State Youth Festival at the Raipur Science College ground was dedicated to artists dancing to Mandar beats on the first day.
