Bilaspur : The Bilaspur High Court, in its landmark ruling on the long-running controversy surrounding the Assistant Professor Recruitment 2019, dismissed all petitions challenging the recruitment process and declared the current selection list to be completely valid and constitutional. The court clarified in its order that if a candidate from a reserved category scores more than the general cut-off, they will be included in the unreserved category as per the rules. The court also upheld the amendments made to the recruitment rules.

This entire matter was primarily surrounded by controversies surrounding post-examination rule changes and the reservation process, which have now received judicial approval. This High Court decision has brought significant relief to selected candidates who have been in limbo for several years, and the path for the recruitment process to proceed smoothly has now been fully paved.
