Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid homage to the great social reformer, educationist and Marathi poetess Smt. Savitribai Phule on her death anniversary (March 10).Chief Minister Shri Sai said that with her unparalleled courage and dedication, Smt. Phule initiated a revolution of education and social justice in Indian society. She not only got educated herself, but also gave a new direction to social consciousness by opening the doors of education for the underprivileged classes and women.Her entire life inspires us to move from darkness to light.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through her works, Smt. Savitribai Phule not only made women and Dalit society aware, but she also challenged those stereotypes which hindered the society in the path of progress.
