In Chhattisgarh, grand Tiranga Yatras were organized across the state today to connect the 'Citizens for National Security' program and the heroic saga of 'Operation Sindoor' with the people.This event became a clear symbol of tribute to the brave martyrs, respect for the courage of the Indian Army and civil solidarity.
Thousands of citizens participated in the historic Tiranga Yatra led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at Charaidand in Duldula Tehsil of Jashpur district.Chief Minister Shri Sai felicitated the families of the martyrs and described 'Operation Sindoor' as a symbol of national unity. He transformed the national resolve into a mass movement by starting a signature campaign.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw and Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu flagged off the Tiranga Yatra from the Mini Stadium in Bilaspur. MPs, Mayor, officials and the general public participated significantly in this Yatra that went up to Lakhiram Auditorium.
Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Shri Vijay Sharma and Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap led a grand Tiranga Yatra in Chingavaram of Sukma district. Hundreds of villagers participated in this event and made it clear that now Bastar will be known not by terror but by self-confidence.
In Rajnandgaon, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Raman Singh himself participated in the Tiranga Yatra organized in village Bharregaon and the city. He said that Operation Sindoor is a living example of India's strength. Common citizens participated in large numbers and paid true tribute to the soldiers.
Thousands of people participated in the march led by Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh and Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia at Raigarh district headquarters. This march became a people's resolution to pay respect to the martyrs and the mothers of the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
In Korba, thousands of people including the Mayor, Collector and SP participated in the procession that started from Ghantaghar Chowk under the leadership of Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan. Slogans of 'Jai Hind' and 'Vande Mataram' filled the atmosphere with patriotism.
At Mahasamund district headquarters, the yatra was completed from Gandhi Chowk to High School Ground under the leadership of MP Smt. Roopkumari Chaudhary and MLA Shri Yogeshwar Sinha. There was huge participation of villagers, NCC, scouts, women groups.
Tiranga Yatra was taken out in every village in Kawardha district, in which Sarpanch, teachers, youth groups and common citizens together expressed their respect for the army. This event became a powerful platform for public awareness.
