Raipur: On the occasion of Buddha Jayanti on Sunday, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh worshiped Lord Gautam Buddha at Bhongapal in Kondagaon district and prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.During the ceremony, Buddhist monks from Bodhgaya, Bhanthe Ashwajit Mahathera, Bhanthe Jnanavansh Thero, Bhanthe Shilvansh Thero, Bhanthe Pramod and Bhanthe Dean Vietnam performed rituals amidst chanting of Buddham Sharanam Gachham mantras.
