Under the "More Village More Water Campaign", training program for water conservation was organized in the district from 02 to 06 June: Training completed in Sahidand, Patratoli, Bataikela and Sureshpur villages
Jashpur : As per the instructions of the Collector and under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat, training is being organized in a phased manner from 02 to 06 June 2025 for water conservation, preparation of village level water security schemes and capacity building of village water committees under the More Village More Water Campaign in the district.This is proving to be a meaningful initiative towards promoting public participation in the district regarding water conservation.
In this connection, training programs were organized today in Sahidand, Patratoli, Bataikela and Sureshpur villages of the district.In this campaign, training was organised in cluster Kastura of DuldulaCluster Kansabel of District Panchayat Kansabel, District Panchayat Kunkuri Village Cluster Narayanpur, Cluster Bumatel of District Panchayat Manora, district panchayat, Dumrabahar, Kharkatta, Kilkila and Gharjiabathan clusters of Pathalgav district panchayat.In which technical support was provided by MNREGA cell, while TRIF Jashpur also made a significant contribution. These activities are an important step towards planning rural water structures and ensuring sustainable use of water resources under the District Water Conservation Scheme.In the said training, the Sarpanch, Secretary, Employment Assistant and women of Bihan Cadre of the concerned village were trained.
