Road Safety Committee meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Collector and SSP: Strict action will be taken against those who break traffic rules under the campaign 'Break the Law, Leave the License'

Jashpurnagar: A meeting of the Road Safety Committee was organised in the district office meeting hall under the chairmanship of Collector Rohit Vyas and SSP Shashi Mohan Singh.Expressing his concern over road accidents, the Collector directed to run a comprehensive traffic awareness campaign in the district to make the roads safe.While giving instructions to follow the safety standards in driving, he said that it should be ensured that four-wheeler drivers wear seat belts and two-wheeler drivers wear helmets.He also directed to take action against employees coming to all government offices and departments including district office and police office without helmet.

The collector said that it is unfortunate for anyone to lose their life in a road accident. Because every life is precious, if every person follows traffic rules then many precious lives can be saved. He said that people should be encouraged to wear helmets and seat belts for the benefit of their family, friends and loved ones.
