Raipur : The district administration has registered an FIR against Jainam Construction, Bajarpara Geedam, District Dantewada, in the case of non-compliance of the prescribed standards in the construction work of 12 smart Anganwadi centers under the BSP CSR scheme in Narayanpur district and misuse of government funds.For the construction of smart Anganwadi centres, Jainam Construction, Bazarpara Geedam, District Dantewada was sanctioned a total amount of Rs 1 crore 80 lakh at the rate of Rs 15 lakh for each centre.

An advance amount of Rs 1 crore 39 lakh was given to the concerned firm for the construction work. However, on receiving complaints regarding the quality of work, an inquiry committee was constituted as per the instructions of Collector Narayanpur Pratishtha Mamgain.The investigation report submitted by the committee confirmed serious irregularities in the construction work and misuse of government funds. Jainam Construction did not follow the prescribed standards in the construction work and misused government funds.On the basis of the above facts, an FIR has been lodged against Jainam Construction, Bazarpara Geedam, District Dantewada. Collector Pratishtha Mamgain has said that negligence and corruption in government schemes will not be tolerated under any circumstances and strict action will be taken against the culprits.

It is worth mentioning that administrative approval of Rs. 1 crore 80 lakh was received for the construction of Smart Anganwadi. Tenders were invited for the said work, in which Jainam Construction, Bazarpara Geedam, District Dantewada was appointed as the implementing agency after quoting the lowest rate.
