Chhattisgarh is ready to touch new heights of good governance in Atal Nirman Year: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai
Raipur, 08 June 2025/ Under the leadership of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, the two-day Chintan Shivir 2.0 was inaugurated today at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Nava Raipur.Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Vijay Sharma, cabinet members, MPs, MLAs and intellectuals participated in this camp organized in collaboration with the Department of Good Governance and Convergence and IIM Raipur.
The platform aims to enhance administrative efficiency, strengthen inter-sectoral coordination and develop transformative approaches for public welfare.In his address, the Chief Minister said that this camp is a unique opportunity for introspection and exchange of knowledge, which will take Chhattisgarh to new dimensions of good governance. He talked about bringing positive changes in the lives of the common people by implementing the suggestions received from the previous Chintan Shivir.
Mr Sai said over 350 administrative reforms have been carried out in one and a half years, including e-office system which has ensured accountability and transparency by eliminating manual piles of files.Now files move online, and every work has a fixed time limit, which has eliminated the scope for corruption.
Celebrating the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh as Atal Nirman Year, the Chief Minister paid tribute to former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee.He said that the main objective of this year is to implement Atal Ji's principles of good governance on the ground. The registry process has been simplified by adopting digital governance, in which now registry and automatic transfer is being done within minutes sitting at home.This technological innovation is a revolutionary step towards eliminating corruption.
Single Window System 2.0 and Ease of Doing Business under the new Industrial Policy have encouraged investments.In view of the immense potential of the core sector in Chhattisgarh, which is rich in mineral resources, special grants have been arranged. By giving tourism the status of an industry and starting grants for homestay entrepreneurs, natural beauty is being converted into economic opportunities.
Apart from this, promotion of AI and climate change related ventures, launch of country's first AI data centre park and semiconductor unit in Nava Raipur is making Chhattisgarh the pioneer of technological revolution.The camp organised sessions on ‘Day One: Transformational Leadership and Visionary Governance’, ‘Culture, Good Governance and Nation Building’ and ‘From Efficiency to Sustainability: Rethinking Public Finance’.
