Chintan Shivir 2.0 creates a new definition of good governance: The path to good governance through technology and innovation
Raipur 9 June 2025/ With the aim of making the functioning of the Chhattisgarh government more effective and public-friendly, Chintan Shivir 2.0 was organized at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur.In this camp, there was an in-depth discussion on innovations in reaching the schemes of the Central and State Government to the public and modern techniques of good governance.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai and his cabinet colleagues shared views on various aspects of good governance with subject experts.On the last day of the Chintan Shivir, Sanjeev Sanyal, member of the PM's Economic Advisory Council, delivered a lecture on the topic "Art of Good Governance"He also highlighted important issues like simplifying administrative processes, increasing the capacity of the state, removing unnecessary rules and restructuring of government agencies.He explained how governments can make the quality of their policymaking and implementation more effective,
Political analyst and author Shri Uday Mahurkar spoke on the topic "Good Governance to Elections" and discussed in detail the historical perspective of Indian democracy, quality of political conduct, administrative accountability and pro-people implementation of policies.He said that strong and transparent governance system increases public confidence in democracy and also influences the electoral process.He also highlighted measures to strengthen good governance at the local level, bring transparency in elections and establish ethical values in administration.
