Tribal Pride Day will be celebrated in all districts of the state, CM Sai will participate in the program organized in Jagdalpur.
Raipur. The 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda will be celebrated with dignity as Tribal Pride Day on November 15th in all districts of Chhattisgarh. Various programs will be organized in the districts to mark the occasion. Extensive preparations are underway in all districts for the event. The Chief Minister, ministers, MPs, and MLAs will be present as chief guests at the Tribal Pride Day programs to be held at the district headquarters. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's address on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day will be broadcast live on the official YouTube channel and DD News, with arrangements for viewing and listening at the venue. During the program, the Honorable Chief Minister's message will be read, and short films based on schemes such as "PM Janman," "Adi Karmayogi," and "Dharti Aaba" will also be screened.
According to the program released by the state government regarding the celebration of Tribal Pride Day, a grand celebration will be held in Jagdalpur, the district headquarters of Bastar, under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai. Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap and MLA Shri Kiran Singh Dev will be specially present on this occasion.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma will be the chief guest at the Tribal Pride Day organized in Durg district, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao in Bilaspur, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhanlal Sahu in Raipur and Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh in Rajnandgaon, Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam in Balrampur, Food Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel in Bemetara, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Devangan in Korba, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma in Raigarh, Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary in Surguja, Women and Child Development Minister Smt. It is noteworthy that the "Tribal Pride Year Fortnight" is being celebrated across the country from November 1 to November 15, 2025. Various programs are being organized in all districts of the state to mark this occasion. Family members of tribal freedom fighters, tribal community leaders, and talented students will be honored at the Tribal Pride Day program. Exhibitions of tribal culture, art, cuisine, handicrafts, and government welfare schemes, along with beneficiary interaction programs, will also be major attractions at the district-level celebrations. Various programs will also be organized in schools, ashram schools, and residential schools on this occasion.
Services such as Aadhaar card, Ayushman card, Prime Minister Jan Dhan account, caste certificate, PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, Kisan Credit Card, sickle cell test and health check-up will be made available at special beneficiary camps organized on the occasion of Tribal Pride Day. Prabhat Pheri, public awareness tours, cultural competitions, painting, essay writing, debates, tree planting and seminars on tribal heroes and heroines will be held at the district, development block and village levels.
