Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai inaugurated housing projects worth Rs 2060 crore of the Housing Board.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated Chhattisgarh Housing Board's housing projects worth Rs 2060 crore at the three-day state-level housing fair held at BTI Ground in Shankar Nagar, Raipur. These 55 projects will be launched in 26 districts of the state, through which more than 12 thousand affordable and quality houses will be constructed. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the Housing Board's AI chat bot and portal. Through this, consumers will be able to easily get information about the Housing Board's housing projects.

On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Housing and Environment Minister Mr. OP Choudhary, Revenue Minister Mr. Tankaram Verma, MLA Mr. Motilal Sahu, MLA Mr. Purandar Mishra, MLA Mr. Anuj Sharma, Chairman Housing Board Mr. Anurag Singhdev, Chairman Film Development Corporation Ms. Mona Sen, Chairman Oil Mill Board Mr. Jatin Sahu along with other public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that the Chhattisgarh Housing Board team is currently working very well. It is moving forward with innovation to provide affordable and quality housing to the people of the state. The Chhattisgarh government has cleared the Housing Board's debt of ₹790 crore, making it debt-free so that the Board can work with a better strategy. Referring to the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana, implemented not only in Chhattisgarh but across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to provide permanent houses to the needy and homeless, he said that in two years, 2.6 million people in Chhattisgarh have been approved for housing under this scheme. Housing is being built for everyone. Under the PM Janman Yojana, 32,000 houses have been approved for Special Backward Tribes and 15,000 houses for surrendered Naxalites and Naxal-affected families in Bastar.
