Meaningful discussion held on expansion of sports facilities in Chhattisgarh
Raipur, India's cricket team batsman and international player, Mr. Rinku Singh, paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai today at the Chief Minister's residence in Raipur, the capital. The Chief Minister welcomed Rinku Singh by presenting him with a shawl and a Nandi symbol. MLA Mr. Sushant Shukla was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Sai congratulated and wished Rinku Singh for his outstanding performance and his significant contribution to the Indian cricket team. During the meeting, Chhattisgarh's rich culture and traditions, and the efforts being made to promote sports in the state, were discussed in detail.
Chief Minister Shri Sai briefed Rinku Singh on the concept of the Bastar Olympics and the potential it offers to nurture local talent. He said that the youth of Chhattisgarh have immense potential and the state government is continuously striving to promote sports.
