Chhattisgarh receives investment proposals worth over Rs 6,800 crore
Industry and tourism will get a boost, opening the way for more than 3,000 jobs.
Raipur/New Delhi. Chhattisgarh received unprecedented investment proposals at the Investor Connect event held in Delhi. Leading companies from various sectors, including steel, energy, and tourism, expressed interest in setting up industries, capacity expansion, hotel construction, and waste-to-energy projects in the state. The companies participating in the event proposed a total of ₹6,321.25 crore in industrial investments and ₹505 crore in tourism investments. These projects are expected to create over 3,000 employment opportunities in the coming years. With this investment, Chhattisgarh has received a total of ₹7.90 lakh crore in investment proposals so far.
The event, held today at Hotel The Lalit in Delhi, focused on new investment opportunities, focusing on the steel and tourism sectors. During the event, Chief Minister Shri Sai discussed investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh with leading investors, experts, and industry representatives and presented investment proposal letters to several companies in the steel and tourism sectors.
