A grand programme was held at the Town Hall on Constitution Day, with the Preamble being read out under the chief patronage of Chief Minister Sai.
Raipur. A grand program was organized today at the Town Hall, Shastri Chowk, on the occasion of Constitution Day. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the program as the chief guest. He paid homage to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by garlanding his statue and portrait. In the presence of Chief Minister Shri Sai, the Preamble of the Constitution was read out collectively, in which all guests, officials, and students participated enthusiastically.
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai delivered an inspiring address on the importance of the Constitution, its values, and civic duties. He stated that the Constitution is not just a document, but the foundation of India's democratic values. Mr. Sai said, "It is a matter of great fortune that we have gathered here today to celebrate the 75th Constitution Day. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes to all of you on Constitution Day."
Chief Minister Mr. Sai began the program by paying homage to Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar with the slogan "Bharat Mata" and "Chhattisgarh Mahatari." On this occasion, the Chief Minister also visited an exhibition dedicated to Constitution Day. Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai stated that the country's Constitution is not a book, but a scripture that grants all Indians the right to live freely and the freedom to express their views within society with dignity. India is the world's largest democratic country, and it is the significance of our Constitution that even an ordinary person can reach the highest position in the country. Today, the Constitution encompasses the development of all classes, ensuring the proper development of all.
Referring to Chhattisgarh's role in the creation of the Constitution, Sai said that people from all over the country participated in its creation. Our Chhattisgarh's pride, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla, Barrister Chhedilal, and Dr. Ghanshyam Gupta, were also on the committee. On this occasion, we pay tribute to all of them. Following this, a 5-minute short film based on the Constitution was screened. This short film, reflecting the spirit of the Constitution, showed how the Constitution laid the foundation for the country's development, which was appreciated by the audience present.
MLA Shri Rajesh Moonat, Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Sunil Soni, District Panchayat President Shri Naveen Agarwal, Secretary Public Relations and Culture Dr. Rohit Yadav, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, Corporation Commissioner Shri Vishwadeep, District Panchayat CEO Shri Kumar Biswaranjan, senior public representatives and many dignitaries were present in the program.
