Raipur In the review meeting of the works of the Higher Education Department, Minister Tank Ram Verma directed the officials to make biometric attendance mandatory in all colleges and audit system at division level, promote graduate principals and settle the pending cases of senior category pay scale soon.

Today, Higher Education Minister Tank Ram Verma held a departmental review meeting at Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, Nava Raipur. In which the officials were also directed to implement NEP 2020, create e-classes in colleges, include Indian knowledge tradition in the higher education curriculum and provide training to guest lecturers under NEP.

Minister Verma also directed officials to construct studios in colleges. These studios will allow professors to record their lectures and send them to students. Senior officials, including Higher Education Secretary S. Bharathidasan, were present at the meeting.
