The terror of the elephant continues unabated, it crushed a sleeping couple to death.

Surajpur. The terror of the elephant was once again witnessed in Chhattisgarh's Surajpur district on Friday night. An elephant crushed a couple to death in Bisahi Podi village, located in Kapsara, Bhatgaon police station area. The incident occurred around 2 a.m., when the couple was sleeping together in a barn. According to reports, the deceased, Kabilas Rajwada, was guarding paddy in a barn with his wife, Dhaniyaro. Late at night, an elephant attacked and killed them both. Following information from locals, a forest department team arrived at the scene. However, the forest department is unable to pinpoint the exact location of the elephants. It should be noted that on November 22nd, four people went into the forest on their bikes in the Ramkola forest area around noon. They had gone there in search of a stray cow and herbs. While returning, around 4 p.m., they suddenly encountered elephants. One elephant became aggressive and trampled former deputy sarpanch Mohammad Saifuddin to death. The other three managed to escape and save their lives.
