Korba. A case of suicide has been reported from Korba district of Chhattisgarh. A 50-year-old man has committed suicide by hanging himself. His wife had died three months ago, leaving him depressed. He ended his life in despair. Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and sent the body to the hospital.

According to the information, Kitab Singh, 50 years old, father of late Puran Singh, resident of village Baisemar under Chaitma outpost area, has embraced death by hanging himself in his house. On receiving information about the incident, the police team reached the spot and during preliminary investigation, it was found that Kitab Singh's wife Kamalabai had died of illness three months ago. After the death of his wife, Kitab was often silent and used to stay alone at home. It is said that Kitab Singh has embraced death by hanging himself in his house. At present, the police have started investigation by establishing a case in the matter.
