CG: Firing inside RPF post – Head constable shot dead, accused arrested

A head constable shot his fellow head constable while on duty. The deceased head constable, P.K. Mishra, died on the spot. The accused constable, K.S. Lader, was immediately arrested by the police. Upon receiving information about the incident, Raigarh SP Divyang Patel reached the spot and began investigating the matter.
A shooting inside an RPF post in Raigarh at around 4 a.m. caused a commotion. While on duty, Head Constable K.S. Lader shot his fellow Head Constable P.K. Mishra with his service revolver, killing him on the spot. The accused, Lader, has been taken into custody and is being interrogated. Given the seriousness of the matter, Raigarh SP Divyang Patel immediately arrived at the RPF post and assessed the situation.
The deceased's body is currently being withheld from anyone. The inquest and further procedures will only begin after the RPF IG arrives in Raigarh. Following the incident, the deceased constable's family members have also arrived at the post, where security has been tightened.
