The resolution of Naxalism-free Chhattisgarh is now rapidly becoming a reality – CM Sai
Raipur. Under the strong leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the guidance of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bastar is witnessing a historic transformation. Today, in Sukma district, under the Poona Margem - Rehabilitation to Rejuvenation program, 10 Maoist cadres from various Naxalite organizations, including the Darba Division Committee, surrendered and joined the mainstream. These include six female Maoists, who had a total bounty of ₹3.3 million (approximately $1.3 million).
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai shared this information in a post on the social media platform X. He wrote that neither the present nor the future is safe with the path of violence. The Chhattisgarh government's special rehabilitation policy guarantees respect, security, livelihood, and reintegration into society for those who surrender. By returning to the mainstream, they can begin a new life with their families, a stable, secure, and dignified life. Our goal is clear: to completely free Chhattisgarh from Naxalism and give Bastar a new identity of development, trust, and opportunities.
