Raigarh: A tragic accident occurred late Sunday evening in the Lalunga police station area of ​​the district. Five-year-old Balmati Chauhan of Jamuna village was playing in the street with other children when she was hit by a speeding tractor. Balmati died on the spot.

According to Balmati Chauhan's father, Ugrasen Chauhan, Chandan Chauhan of the village was driving his tractor at high speed toward the settlement. Due to his careless driving, the tractor hit Balmati, leaving her with severe head injuries and covered in blood.

A crowd of people gathered immediately after the incident. Balmati's family immediately arrived at the scene and took her to Lalunga Hospital by ambulance. Doctors at the hospital declared Balmati dead upon initial examination.
