Rohit Tomar Case: The Supreme Court has granted a major legal relief to Raipur's notorious history-sheeter, Rohit Tomar. The court has stayed his arrest in four cases registered in the Purani Basti police station area. These four FIRs were filed between June and July 2025, in which Rohit Tomar was accused of intimidating victims and charging exorbitant interest.

However, this relief is not a complete safeguard for Rohit Tomar. This Supreme Court order is limited to the four cases in which anticipatory bail was sought. According to police officials, arrests and investigations will continue in the other criminal cases filed against Rohit Tomar.
