Chief Minister's public meeting: Divyang Praveen Giri Goswami received immediate assistance of Rs 20,000 for his daughter's marriage.
Raipur. During the ambitious public hearing program held at the Chief Minister's residence office today, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai sensitively and promptly resolved the problem of Praveen Giri Goswami, a disabled person from Mahadevghat, Raipura. He provided immediate assistance by presenting a cheque of 20,000 rupees for the marriage of his daughter, Phool Giri Goswami. Goswami, a disabled person, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Sai for this.
Praveen Goswami, a priest by profession, has four daughters, three of whom are married, and the fourth, Phool Giri Goswami, is engaged. He explained that he suffers from diabetes. He burned his leg while riding a motorcycle, and due to a diabetes infection, his leg had to be amputated. His savings were also exhausted for his treatment. Due to his poor financial situation, he is facing considerable difficulties in arranging his younger daughter's wedding. He barely manages his household expenses with the income he earns from temple donations. Mr. Goswami, a disabled person, felt relieved upon receiving the 20,000 rupee cheque from the Chief Minister.
