Chief Minister Sai inaugurated the new building of 30-bed Community Health Centre.

Jashpurnagar . Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai today inaugurated the newly constructed 30-bed community health center in the Bagicha development block, offering the residents a significant gift of improved healthcare facilities. This modern health center offers specialized medical services, along with adequate arrangements for lab testing and treatment of various diseases.

A population of nearly two hundred thousand, including approximately 14 thousand hill Korwa special backward tribes, living in remote and inaccessible areas of the remote forest region of Bagicha, will now have access to better and more accessible health services in their own area. The operation of this center will reduce travel to distant cities for treatment of serious illnesses, saving time, and ensuring timely treatment for patients.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai stated that ensuring easy access to quality medical care for every citizen is one of the top priorities of the state government. He added that special focus is being placed on strengthening health services in forest areas like Bagicha and other tribal-dominated areas, so that those in need can receive free and quality treatment locally. The Chief Minister stated that important steps are being continuously taken to strengthen the health infrastructure in the district. Construction work is underway on a medical college, a naturopathy and physiotherapy center, a government nursing college, and a government physiotherapy college in Jashpur, which will give the district a new identity in the field of medical education and services in the future. Present on the occasion were MLAs Raimuni Bhagat and Gomti Sai, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, District Panchayat Vice President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Inspector General Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. G.S. Jatra, and local public representatives.

This newly constructed 30-bed community health center, built at a cost of approximately 243,72,000 rupees, will provide general surgery, ENT, pediatrics, orthopedics, and other specialist services, along with modern lab testing and treatment facilities. The government has also approved 100 medical and paramedical staff for its smooth operation. This health center will undoubtedly prove to be a lifeline for Bagicha and the surrounding rural and forest areas, and will prove to be a milestone in providing accessible and quality medical services to the people of the region.
