Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test to be held on February 1

Jashpurnagar . The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM) has issued instructions for candidates appearing in the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (TET26) 2026. Vyapam organizes various examinations with your cooperation. Vyapam is conducting the Chhattisgarh Teacher Eligibility Test (TET26) 2026 in two shifts on February 1, 2026, in 20 districts. Approximately 119,000 candidates are participating in the first shift (for teaching in primary classes) and approximately 205,000 candidates are participating in the second shift (for teaching in secondary classes). Although the examination is being conducted in 20 districts, candidates from all 33 districts of the state are participating. The district-wise number of candidates and examination centers is as per the attached list. In the interest of all the candidates of all the districts, the following instructions issued for them should be widely publicized. The candidates must inspect their examination centre one day before the examination so that they do not face any inconvenience on the examination day.

 Candidates should reach the examination centre at least 2 hours before the commencement of the examination so that they can be frisked and verified with their original photo identity card.

The main gate of the examination center will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the examination. Since the first shift begins at 9:30 a.m., the main gate will be closed at 9:00 a.m. Since the second shift begins at 3:00 p.m., the main gate will be closed at 2:30 p.m.

Wear light-colored, half-sleeved clothing. Black, dark blue, dark green, purple, ochre, violet, or dark chocolate are prohibited.

Only simple sweaters (without pockets) are permitted. Sweaters must be removed and checked by a security guard during security checks. Light-colored sweaters and half-sleeved sweaters are not permitted.

Candidates wearing religious and cultural attire will have to report at the examination centre before the usual time and will be allowed to wear such attire only after undergoing additional security check.

 Wear slippers as footwear.

 Any kind of jewellery in the ears is prohibited.

 It is strictly prohibited to carry any kind of communication device, electronic device, electronic pad, purse, pouch, scarf, belt, cap etc. in the examination hall.

Strict action will be taken against those found using unfair means in the examination and their candidature will be cancelled.

 Candidates should bring only black or blue ball pointers to the examination centre.
