Passenger bus overturns on Mati Pahar-Jashpur road, major accident averted

Jashpur - A passenger bus traveling from Mati Pahar Chharra to Jashpur lost control and overturned near Baghmara between Akira and Tapkara on Sunday. All of the bus's wheels were uprooted in the accident. Around 35 to 40 passengers were on board at the time. Fortunately, no passengers were seriously injured, averting a major tragedy.

According to eyewitnesses, the bus was traveling at a high speed. Suddenly, a dog appeared on the road. The driver tried to save the dog, causing the bus to lose balance and overturn. The accident caused widespread panic and panic among the passengers.

With the help of local residents and passersby, the injured were pulled out. Several passengers suffered minor injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital in private vehicles. Police also arrived at the scene after receiving information about the incident and brought the situation under control.

Locals expressed displeasure over the slow response of emergency services. They alleged that despite Farsabahar being only 10 kilometers from the incident site, it took the 108 ambulance nearly one and a half hours to reach the scene. They are demanding better arrangements from the administration regarding this matter.
