Chhattisgarh: The cold has once again forced people to shiver. According to the CG Weather Update, the effects of the cold are clearly felt in many parts of the state during the morning and evening hours. The Meteorological Department has indicated that the minimum temperature may slightly drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius over the next three days. However, there is a possibility of a further increase in temperatures after this drop.

The weather remained dry in the state over the past 24 hours. During this time, a cold wave was felt in some areas of Raipur and Durg divisions, increasing the chill. Regarding temperature, the highest maximum temperature in the state was recorded in Jagdalpur at 32.4 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Ambikapur at 5.6 degrees Celsius, reflecting the increasing impact of the cold. These figures clearly indicate that the winter is more severe in northern and central Chhattisgarh.

According to the Meteorological Department, minimum temperatures will remain relatively stable over the next 24 hours. After this, a slight decrease is possible for the next three days.
