00 Governor attended the closing ceremony of Raipur Literature Festival
Raipur. Governor Shri Ramen Deka has said that even in this world full of internet and this era of new generation, the importance of print and literature will always remain. Governor Shri Deka expressed these views on the occasion of the closing ceremony of the three-day Raipur Literature Festival 'Aadi se Anadi' at Purkhauti Muktangan campus in Nava Raipur today. The Governor said that literature and poetry should always have a message. Just as the seven notes of music keep us together, similarly the exchange of literature provides an opportunity to learn new things.

Speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony, the Governor said that over the past three days, many good and meaningful discussions took place on this platform. There was a frank exchange of ideas. Everyone spoke together on a wide range of topics related to literature, society, and life. This festival has been a memorable and learning experience for all literature lovers. Several important books were also released during this event. Renowned publishers from across the country presented a beautiful collection of books. Readers had a wonderful opportunity to see and read new books. It is heartening to see that people still have a deep interest in books.

In this world of internet, print and literature will always be important.

Mr. Deka said that the exchange of literature and music is essential, and such literary celebrations should always be held. Congratulating everyone for the successful three-day event, he said that such events should be organized in other cities and villages across the state, and that these events should involve community participation, not government-sponsored events.
Mr. Deka said that today's generation has forgotten Chhattisgarh's Ramayana-era culture and literature. Our state is beautiful and rich, and its culture should be promoted so that people outside the state can learn about it. Mr. Deka said that words have immense power. Words embody Brahman. He cited Bankim Chandra Chatterjee's song Vande Mataram, saying that these two words awakened the entire nation. He said that literature connects us, gives us a new direction to think, and inspires us to become better human beings. We must all make literature a part of our lives, carry forward the tradition of dialogue, and keep this light of thought burning. He urged those present to do at least one act in their lives, one that is free from any transaction or personal interest. Such acts strengthen the overall development of the country and society.
